Matt Reed
Matt is a scientist, inventor and innovator. He has a technical background in chemistry, quantitative microscopy, and data science. Over the course of a thirty-year career in science and innovation, Matt has worked for Shell Research and Unilever R&D in both the UK and the Netherlands. During that time he has worked closely with university innovators in the UK, US, Sweden, Netherlands and India. He has published scientific papers and patents, and co-founded three technology companies. Matt is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and lives in the North-West of the UK.
Matt Reed is the Strategy Director for the Materials Innovation Factory at the University of Liverpool.
Joss Langford
Joss is an engineer with extensive marketing experience. His career has taken him around the world in industrial chemicals, branded consumer goods, professional consulting services and health informatics. Joss has built new ventures, created novel products and services, and developed long-term technology portfolios. His work has been recognised through design awards, academic papers and numerous patents in a range of technical disciplines. In recent years, Joss has developed global standards for the management of personal data. Joss is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and lives in the South-West of the UK.
Joss Langford is CTO at Activinsights and has an Honorary Research Fellowship at the University of Exeter.
